RARE Vintage Welsh Tapestry Blanket in Mint Green, Coral Pink & Daffodil Yellow in 'Peony' Design

Stunning vintage Welsh wool tapestry blanket in beautiful & vibrant mint green, coral pink with a pop of daffodil yellow. Beautiful & rare 'peony' design which was first woven by Hannah Jones in Penmachno Mill in early 1900s.

This one is a 1950's version of her design by Derw Mill which has long since closed. In lovely condition. Knife edge border to two long sides. Blanket stitch to both ends. Someone has loosely handstitched a bout an inch the corners over ( done to stop damage or the corner being damaged) which I have left as it's a lovely feature of it's life, history & authenticity but you can easily unpick.
