Vintage Welsh tapestry coat. Full length mustard, black & off white in a diamond weave. The main colour almost mossy greeny browny mustard. Overcoat style with dropped shoulders & raglan sleeves. Slashed side pockets. Original 'Mari Lwyd' label. Back in the day we had 300 working mills in Wales with only a small handful remaining. Most mills would have had a tailoress & a shop where clothing like this was sold. They also sold the lengths of Welsh wool tapestry to small fashion houses such as Mari Lwyd. Size 16. Good condition. Rare to find this length.
