Gorgeous vintage Welsh wool tapestry pea coat in striking unusual brown & cream jacquard diamond design. Buttons to front. Large patch pockets. Lovely condition. I'd say a comfortable size 14/16 as I'm a 16/18 & it's snug on me.
Back in the day there were 300 working woollen mills in Wales & most would have had a shop with a Tailoress who made clothing. They would also sell lengths of the wool fabric to small fashion houses like Mari Lwyd, Dillad Coracle, Celtique & Eclipse. The mills sadly have dwindled to single figures so you would be wearing a bit of Welsh & midcentury fashion
