Gorgeous vintage 1960s/70s Welsh wool tapestry pea coat in stunning & rare emerald green & cobalt blue colourway. Iconic Welsh style fashion. Slash piped pockets to side. Buttons to front. Vents to both sides. Original label. Great condition. Size I'd say approx size 16/18 as fits me & that's my size.
Back in the day there were 300 working woollen mills in Wales & most would have had a shop with a Tailoress who made clothing. They would also sell lengths of the wool fabric to small fashion houses like Mari Lwyd, Dillad Coracle, Celtique & Eclipse (where this one was made). The mills sadly have dwindled to single figures so you would be wearing a bit of Welsh & midcentury fashion
