Stunning vintage Welsh wool tapestry blanket in unusual vivid gold mustard yellow, bright green & cream geometric design. This 1960s blanket is a signature design of Elvet Woollen Mill in Cynwyl Elfed, Carmarthenshire, West Wales. Elvet is an 1870s mill on the river Duad & faced closure as owner Mike Talbot was retiring. Thankfully it was rescued by weaver Daniel Harris of London Cloth Company in 2022 & the incredible heritage looms preserved.
King size. Measures 230cms x 220cms. Great condition. Fully reversible.
