Beautiful vintage Welsh wool tapestry blanket in bright orange, green & off white. Original Meirion Mill label intact. This pattern is one of their signature designs & I'd say this is circa 1970s/80s. Excellent condition. Measures 94 inches x 72 inches.
Active weaving and fabric production at Meirion Mill in Dinas Mawddwy ceased during the 1980s. Today, the historic building operates as a large retail outlet and coffee shop that still sells a wide variety of woollen goods, textiles & crafts. A lovely place to visit.
