Absolutely stunning antique Welsh Tapestry Blanket in striking black, red & yellow by Brynkir Mill. This design is known as the 'Navajo' & was a signature design at Brynkir based near Porthmadog, North Wales. The mill is sadly now closed. This particular blanket is an older version of this pattern as per the four knife edge borders running into checkerboard corners so a real bit of Welsh history & heritage. A small patch of wear more noticeable on the yellow side than the black but with such a busy design you'd have to look. Measures approx 88 x 72 inches
