Here's a bit of Welsh history right here! Antique Welsh tapestry blanket/bedcover a greyish sage green with vivid orange. Natural dyes. Beautiful double-cloth traditional Caernarfonshire portcullis design. Four knife edge borders running into checkerboard corners. Likely Conwy Valley early 1900s. Very dense weave & tactile texture but not too heavy. Hem to all sides. Don't find them like this very often. Good condition just a little wear to edges & I'd say large double. Measures approx 230cms x 185 cms.
